4 handy tips for winning your next proposal
1.Be first in line – make sure your proposal is the first one your customer get. By mailing your proposal right after the meeting or phone call your client sees your proposal first and the next proposals will have to match your offer.
2. Write a proposal – not an estimate. Outline the customer’s problems and the solutions that you offer. That way your customer knows that you have understood the asignment and the customer will see what he gets instead of staying focused on the price.
3. Write a subject line that matters. Try personalising your offer with a title that talks to your customers. That could be: “regarding your new beautiful kitchen”, “Ideas for renovating your loft”, “Bringing the light into your livingroom” – let them know that you have understood their wishes.
4. Include as many details in your offer as posible – that way your customer knows what he is paying for and understands the expenses. This will make you stand out and make your proposal the benchmark for the next proposals.
